The first Jelling Stone created was by King Gorm the Old, Harald Bluetooth’s father. King Gorm carved this stone in memory of his wife Thyra. Harald Bluetooth’s impact on the world can still be seen today. The first impact which we can still see today is the jelling stones, these are found in Denmark and commemorate the conquest of Scandanavia. Another very important impact we actively take part in everyday (most of us) is Bluetooth. The company of Bluetooth was of course, named after Harald Bluetooth. The company “Bluetooth” didn’t just name themselves after Harald Bluetooth for no reason. They named the company after Harald Bluetooth because he united Scandinavia, this is alike Bluetooth which unites devices together.
